A LITTLE ABOUT WHY WE LOVE DOING WHAT WE DO:
Jack Magalhaes
In 2014 we welcomed Jack, the namesake of our business. Jack arrived on January 1st after a huge 36 hour labor. He was born lifeless. After 9 minutes of resuscitation Jack took his first breath. He was intubated and immediately sent to the NICU unit at the Mater Mothers Hospital, a 2 hour drive away from us. Here we were informed that Jack had suffered an irreparable hypoxic brain injury. After 3 beautiful days we made the heartbreaking decision to turn Jacks life support off. For the very first time we were able to hold him, and Jack passed away snuggled into his daddys arms.
Everything that we do, and all the products that we sell have Jack at their very core. With each blanket, swaddle, wrap, playmat or sheet that we send out, we do so knowing we have shared with you a little piece of our beautiful boy. We know how important safety is for you and your sleeping babe, and thats why we place that at the forefront of everything we do. We use Oeko-Tex certified and organic fabrics to ensure that our products remain free from harmful chemicals and synthetic substances.
